Assist staff and students in the integration of technology throughout the BOCES.  Set up and support computing devices and software in operational order within our local area network environment.  Set up and support other A/V equipment throughout the district.

Assist internal and district Instructional Technology Support team with the following:

  1. Configure and set up classroom and administrative technology hardware/software on the BOCES network.
  2. Install new/upgraded applications/software locally and remotely utilizing central management software solution (i.e., Microsoft SCCM),.
  3. As needed, train users on basic computer operations on various software packages (i.e., Microsoft office) to meet staff needs.
  4. Sit on the organization help desk to answer/support questions to resolve various technology problems and follow up on-site as needed.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve various technology problems (both hardware and software).
  6. Ensure both hardware and software inventories are accurate and up to date as moves/additions/changes occur.
  7. Actively update the organization’s help desk system (Heat) as work is initiated and completed.
  8. Respond to calls as they are assigned.
  9. Perform other duties appropriate to this position as assigned.
$40,000 - $48,000 /Yr Based on experience
