Preferred:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years teaching experience with students with disabilities, general education, school psychology with additional course work in behavior analysis/function-based thinking.
Education: Permanent/Professional New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education or K-12 Content Area Certification Or certification/licensure in School Psychology or School Social Work or School Counselor or coursework/licensure in Behavior Analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma plus EITHER:
(A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work or any psychology, counseling, or education field plus two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges, development disabilities, psychological disorders, or mental health issues in a structured environment;
OR,
(B) Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Behavioral Analyst issued by the New York State Office of the Professions plus two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges, development disabilities,
psychological disorders, or mental health issues in a structured environment*.
