Job Description

This is work involving assembling and refurbishing of science kits.  Must not be allergic to animals or chemicals. Occasional travel may be required to other BOCES 4 Science production facilities in Monroe County.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  1. Refurbish science kits.
  2. File packing slips.
  3. Catalog and inventory science materials.
  4. Operate duplicating and copying equipment and other simple office machines.
  5. Washing materials.
  6. Additional related duties as requested by Director.

Job Qualifications

Some knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment; reasonable knowledge of business arithmetic and English, ability to write legibly; clerical aptitude; mental alertness; neatness of appearance; tact and courtesy; good physical condition.  Must be able to lift moderately heavy boxes, 20-25 lbs.
