The Benefits Clerk is primarily responsible for coordinating employee benefit offerings including counseling employees and retirees on benefit options and processing enrollments and payroll deductions. The Benefits Clerk reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.
Must possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title of Assistant Employee Benefits Technician (Competitive). Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's degree plus two years full-time or its part-time equivalent experience responsible for benefits administration; OR a Bachelor's degree plus one year full-time or its part-time experience responsible for benefits administration.
