Job Description

Responsible for supporting main office administrators with clerical responsibilities such as staff attendance, substitute teachers, building safety, student discipline/attendance, and communication with internal\external partners.

GENERAL MAIN OFFICE DUTIES: 

  • Support to CTE Administration
  • Schedule meetings as requested
  • Schedule conference rooms as requested
  • Supervise students in office
  • Reception desk coverage
  • Typing and proof reading documents
  • Communication with BOCES and district partners 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:  

  • Managing substitute teacher system (SEMS)
  • Student discipline and attendance letters
  • Managing building keys
  • Field trip and Bus Hive support
  • Scheduling all Annual Professional Reviews (APPR)
  • My Learning Plan support
  • Support Office Account Clerk
  • Support Technical Assessment Administration
  • Additional clerical duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Must possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title Office Clerk III.  High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years paid full-time or part-time or volunteer equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience; or an Associate’s degree in Secretarial Science, Office Technology or a closely related field.
