Part-time, 12 month hourly paid positions with flexible day/evening hours.

Provide instructional services for Continuing Education, Job Training, and High School Equivalency programs.  Seeking content specialists interested in sharing their professional knowledge and experiences with adult learners.  Subject areas include Skilled Trades, Nursing & Health Care, Machining & Manufacturing, Hospitality, English, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science.


  1. Provide instructional services for Continuing Education, Job Training and High School Equivalency programs 
  2. Write and execute lesson plans for each assignment
  3. Test and track student progress
  4. Report and document student progress
  5. Collaborate with instructional staff to integrate STEM content into programming 
  6. Maintain all safety standards as mandated by the BOCES 2 organization
  7. Other duties as determined by the Director of BOCES 2 CWD
  8. Report directly to the Director of BOCES 2 CWD

Days/Evenings part-time hourly paid w/flexible scheduling.

NA instructor to provide quality instruction to post-secondary/adult students to prepare them for a successful career in the health care industry as certified nurse assistants.  Must be able to use computers for grade management, e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet applications and other applications necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position.


  • Prepare daily lesson plans and hands-on projects for the practical application of the curriculum
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress
  • Provide individual and group instruction in the implementation of the job training curriculum
  • Prepare pre/post tests and performance evaluations for students at the completion of each unit
  • Order student textbooks, supplies, materials and equipment necessary for the implementation for the job training program
  • Effective supervision of students
  • Maintain and modify curriculum to remain current and up to date
  • Work with the CWD support staff in meeting the instructional and workforce expectations for each adult student enrolled the program and to remain within the standards of the Council on Occupational Education
  • Supervise the clinical experience at designated facilities
  • Monitor employment tracking of students
  • Consistent and effective program recruitment
