- Preparing and delivering instructional material to assist students’ learning
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress
- Provide individual and group instruction in the implementation of the curriculum
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to property monitor and assess student performance
- Prepare pre/posttests and performance evaluations for students at the completion of each unit
- Classes Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-8:30 plus additional hours for planning and grading as assigned

Seeking content specialists interested in teaching courses in construction, manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: - Prepare syllabus and daily lesson plans and hands-on projects for the practical application of the curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress.
- Provide individual and group instruction in the implementation of the curriculum.
- Prepare pre/post-tests and performance evaluations for students at the completion of each unit.

- Manage the classroom procedures and policies to meet student and organizational needs.
- Collaborate with the staff in the classroom and organization as needed
- Report and document student attendance according to program guidelines.
- Come prepared with instructional activities if substitute plans are not available.
- Hours vary per assignment; classes take place in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

They assist instructor with various tasks and functions, including: - Observation and coaching to support the safety of students within the classroom and lab areas
- Development of lesson plans and delivery of instruction within established curriculum guidelines
- Preparation of classroom materials and supplies for classroom and laboratory instruction – including handouts, electronic materials, lab materials, etc.
- Interacting with students, providing one-on-one support and observing projects in lab
- Maintaining equipment in the classroom
- Maintaining inventory of consumable supplies needed for class including contacting vendors for materials and quotes.

Seeking content specialists interested in teaching HVAC/R, CDL-B, Electrical, Residential Construction, Welding, Machining, Small Engine Repair, Forklift, Nurse Assisting, Phlebotomy, Dental Assisting. TYPICAL DUTIES: - Provide instructional services for Career and Technical Education training programs in the absence of the regular instructor on a per diem basis.
- Follow established plans for the delivery of instruction/classroom management as set forth by the instructor.
- Evaluate adult learner progress.
- Assist in upholding and enforcing procedures set forth in the Adult Learner and Faculty handbook.
- Maintain all safety standards as mandated by the BOCES 2 organization.
- Follow course curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans, and assessments aligned to industry standards.
- Use relevant technology to support instruction.
- Provide appropriate feedback during instruction.
