Assist administration in all aspects of the Regional Summer School Program. Assist in all planning phases of summer school including registration, hiring of teachers, supervision of students, courses and instructional programs for Regional Summer School.  Additional time will be required prior to and at the close of summer school.

  1. Assist in student registration and scheduling.
  2. Assist site principal with staff and room assignments.
  3. Assist site principal in the supervision of instructional and support personnel.
  4. Assist in managing matters relating to and affecting discipline of students.
  5. Assist in the planning and implementation of the Regents exam schedule.
  6. Facilitate compliance of student test and classroom accommodations.
  7. Assist with various aspects of Regional Summer School as designated by the Regional Summer School site principal.
$3,000 Total Pay
REGIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM- ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS (Grades 7-12)- 2025RSSP/AsstPrin-11/15/25

Summer 2025 which includes pre- and post-program planning February- August.

Locations : Greece & TBD

Assist administration in all aspects of the Regional Summer School Program. Assist in all planning phases of summer school including registration, hiring of teachers, supervision of students, courses and instructional programs for Regional Summer School.  Additional time will be required prior to and at the close of summer school.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  1. Support site principal in recruiting, interviewing, and recommending hiring of all staff.
  2. Support site principal in completing all pre-employment paperwork for summer school staff.
  3. Support site principal in coordinating all facility and technical needs, providing for the safety and well-being of students and staff.
  4. Support site principal with coordinating room assignments to meet program needs.
  5. Serve as key member of administrative team supervising all staff at summer school site.
  6. Provide administrative support to managing student behavior and discipline.
  7. Provide administrative support to the planning and administration of Regents examination schedule.
  8. Perform other such duties as assigned by site principal.
$6,475 Total Pay
REGIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM-PRINCIPALS (2 positions, Grades 7-12)-2025RSSP/Prin-10/18/24

Summer 2025 which includes pre- and post-program planning January - August.

Greece & 2nd Location is to be determined.

Responsible for the leadership, planning, implementation and management of the Regional Summer School Program; Manage registration, hiring of teachers, supervision of students, courses, instructional programming, and Regents exam coordination for Regional Summer School.  Additional time will be required prior to and at the close of summer school to complete all planning and organizational functions.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  1. Identify staffing needs based on site enrollment.
  2. Recruit, interview and make recommendations for hiring of staff.
  3. Complete all pre-employment paperwork for summer school staff.
  4. Supervise and evaluate all staff at summer school site.
  5. Supervise Regents examination schedule.
  6. Supervise instructional program.
  7. Experience or working knowledge of online learning platforms.
  8. Supervise student discipline program.
  9. For students with either an IEP/504, ensure that test accommodations and reasonable classroom modifications are met.
  10. Conduct faculty meetings.
  11. Coordinate and monitor communications among program staff, parents, and students’ home schools.
  12. Coordinate facility and technical needs and provide for the safety and welfare of students and staff.
  13. Maintain summer school site expenses/receipts.
  14. Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Administration.
$9,444 Total Pay
